Facilities & Landscape Technician

(Year-round Part-Time Position - 18 Hours Per Week)

SALARY:

This part-time position will pay $17.50 - $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns.
  • Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
  • Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs.
  • Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees and plants.
  • Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees.
  • Watering lawns and landscapes.
  • Monitoring and maintaining plant health.
  • Report safety issues and property damage to supervisor.
  • Report and return lost property.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with employees, students, tenants, and guests.
  • Assist Facilities Technicians with set-ups and take-downs when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Assist administration, faculty and staff in special projects as needed under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
