About the Position

Dexis Professional Services (DPS) is recruiting an Intelligence Analyst IV to support the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program. The OCDETF Program forms the centerpiece of the DOJ counternarcotics strategy, and uses prosecutor-led, multi-agency task forces to combat the most serious drug cartels. The mission of the OCDETF Program is to reduce the supply of illegal drugs in the United States and diminish the violence and other criminal activity associated with the drug trade.

This position is based in Washington, DC and is contingent upon contract award.


Responsibilities

  • Intelligence Analysis: Serves as a technical authority in one or more intelligence disciplines. Is responsible for planning, coordinating, and synthesizing research from other Intelligence Analysts to prepare and disseminate all-source intelligence products and responses. Determines research methodology and work approach, and revises as appropriate. Evaluates incoming intelligence and determines pertinent data that should be directed to the attention of the Senior Intelligence Officer. Assesses progress of research efforts and redirects efforts. Evaluates correctness and accuracy of researched material.
  • Communication of Intelligence Product: Briefs intelligence assessments and positions to principals and subordinates. Ensures team products fulfill National-level intelligence requirements. Provides technical guidance to staff principals and subordinates. Conducts complex research and analysis of intelligence, counterintelligence, counternarcotic, organized crime operations, capabilities, and trends supporting all source intelligence and threat production. Leads the preparation, coordination, and implementation of intelligence production and analysis activities in support of OCDETF operations. Develops intelligence estimates and projections. Presents, advocates, and defends OCDETF positions effectively within the intelligence, planning, and operational communities. Coordinates, develops, drafts, writes, produces, revises and ensures completeness of intelligence plans, annexes and associated appendices that require management input.
  • Intelligence Planning and Support to Exercises and Real-World Events: Formulates and prepares the intelligence plans and security portions of exercises. Plans and coordinates intelligence support of joint and combined exercises. Serves as intelligence representative, liaison, site survey officer, and focal point staff officer for exercises and real-world crisis operations. Maintains close liaison with counterparts in other intelligence activities/departments, and ensures coordination and integrity of methodologies and approaches with teams of other analysts throughout the Intelligence Community. Develops plans and resourcing strategies to meet ever- changing and expanding requirements for intelligence communications, networks, equipment, support, software, and training.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience.
  • Active DOD Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience in one or more intelligence disciplines.
  • Ability to plan and conduct research and analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
  • Experience in providing intelligence support to and participating in exercises and real-world events.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.

Dexis pay range for this role:
$105,000 $131,000 USD
