As a Collections Manager at Corcentric, you will join a fun, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will be responsible for overseeing a collection portfolio and managing the collection of outstanding invoices while enforcing company and customer policies. This includes customer account reviews, credit and sales analysis, and cash-flow projections.

This key position reports to the Vice President of Financial Operations and Managed Services within our Credit, Collections, & Disputes team. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Collections Manager, you will:

  • Maintain collections on portfolio of high-volume accounts
  • Provide training and education to staff related to collection policies and procedures
  • Identify issues with billing, pricing, EDI, etc. seek out and create solutions, escalate as needed
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with sales, customer support
  • Negotiate the resolution of collection matters with customers, escalating critical issues to the appropriate management at Corcentric
  • Ability to present and interact with C-Level within Corcentric and the customer organizations
  • Work with other departments to ensure that client/customer expectations are being met - identify process limitations and opportunities for improvement within the organization and the customer accounts
  • Identify issues contributing to changes in delinquency percentages, run rate, spend levels and operational measurements
  • Review and identify customers to be placed on hold or sent to outside collection agency
  • Support the Collections department through goal setting, positive feedback and on-going coaching to ensure activities are performed within department and Company policy
  • Foster a high-performing team through effective recruiting, performance evaluations, training and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain and document communication with customers to include customer complaints regarding billing, policy and failure in servicing
  • Prepare reports for management, metrics, staff portfolios delivering concise and complete reporting
  • Operational process design and implementation through the AR, Disputes, Credit, Systems and Cash Application groups

You'll need to have:

  • Relevant experience in credit & collections in a commercial, business-to-business (B2B) environment
  • Strong organizational, team building and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to describe challenges and processing solutions in a concise manner
  • A strong "client service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in building relationships
  • Strong mentoring, coaching and professional development skills
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and tolerance for a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to stay organized, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level or above (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be professional, persuasive, and assertive while maintaining positive customer relationships

It's great if you also have:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 software

Your compensation package upon joining Corcentric will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to your relevant professional experience and qualifications: your certifications, training, and educational achievements; your geographic location, and Corcentric business and organizational requirements. It is expected that the base salary for this role will be between $80,000 - $95,000 annually, plus eligibility for our annual discretionary bonus program.
