Access Associate Check Out

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Administrative Services, performs all patient-related clerical duties necessary to assist the healthcare team in providing patient care. This includes but is not limited to scheduling appointments, scanning, answering phones and other clerical functions relating to patient care. Ability to cross-cover pre-cert. billing and telephone assistant as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong Computer Literacy and Communication Skills
• Customer Service Experience
• Successful Completion of Orientation Programs

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Hospital Financial Systems, & Insurance Processes
• 1+ Years of Patient Access Experience

Patient Access Certification (CHAA)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift Working: Monday-Friday
• Day Shift: Hours Vary (9:00am-5:00pm & 10:00am-6:00pm)
• Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week
