The MIL Corporationis seeking aReceptionist Ito support our office in Lexington Park, Maryland.The Receptionist welcomes visitors both in person and via telephone, effectively addresses inquiries, and maintains tidy conference rooms and reception areas in order to support our Rapid Engineering and Prototyping Solutions (REPS) sector.

This position is scheduled to work 35-40 hours per week and requires an on-site schedule, with 5 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

This position is not eligible for The MIL Referral Bonus program.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors both in person and via telephone and effectively addresses inquiries.
  • Maintains and follows security procedures by verifying visitors against the cleared security list, monitoring the security logbook, issuing visitor badges and ensuring visitors are escorted as required.
  • Maintains employee and department directories.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing various related tasks as needed including maintaining conference room, reception area, and kitchen cleanliness. This includes stocking beverage and coffee areas.
  • Conducts regular inventory assessments and places orders for any required items from Staples to ensure adequate stock levels.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a customer service and/or business-oriented position
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong active listening skills, a professional demeanor, customer-centric focus, and excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well within a team and maintain a professional positive attitude
  • Ability to follow security policies and procedures

For this position, the projected compensation range is $15.00 - $20.00 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
