As an Inside Sales Lead supporting Microbiome Labs, you will take on a leadership role within the Inside Sales Team. This position is responsible for driving new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and territory support while mentoring and guiding newer team members. This position is designed for high-performing individuals with at least one year of experience on the Inside Sales Team supporting Microbiome Labs who have consistently exceeded assigned key performance indicators (KPIs).
In this role, you will assist new members of the Inside Sales Team with mastering the sales process, sharing technical knowledge, and providing guidance on best practices. You will also work closely with the Inside Sales Manager. The Inside Sales Lead will function as a utility player. When an ISS Rep is promoted to an Outside Sales role, the Inside Sales Lead will support the territories of the vacant ISS Rep position by overseeing the top accounts that the previous ISS Rep had frequent meetings with. Initially, the Inside Sales Lead will run their existing ISS territory as well as all open ISS territories.
In addition, you along with the Inside Sales Manager, will help a new ISS Rep prepare so they can take over their assigned Inside Sales territories and the key accounts that the Inside Sales Lead has been working. In this role you'll make an impact by:
Displaying strong leadership capabilities and the ability to motivate, coach and mentor teammates to achieve high performance levels Demonstrating behavior consistent with the company's Culture Commitments Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers and establish strong custmer relationships Exhibiting a proficient understanding of our sales process Detailing all Microbiome Labs products at a very technical level Identifying and qualifying leads through outbound lead generation methods such as phone cold calling, email campaigns and online research Managing and moving leads through a sales pipeline Making high volume outbound phone calls to clients or potential clients to schedule a virtual meeting Demonstrating the ability to sell yourself and the company Effectively recognizing customer needs and identify suitable solutions from our product offerings Collaborating with reps in their Outside Sales territory to meet and exceed sales quotas Effectively using CRM software (Salesforce) to track sales progress and customer interactions Consistently demonstrating the ability to excite and persuade clients and potential clients Closing sales and achieving monthly quotas
To succeed you must hold:
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience 1+ years of leading the Inside Sales Department in sales performance and overachieving in the KPI's they are responsible for Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft
