We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our Beloit manufacturing team. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Beloit Plant Manager and provides leadership to the plant Maintenance team. This person enables safe and efficient maintenance of production equipment in order to produce high-quality products and serves as a technical resource to maximize mechanical and electrical integrity. The Maintenance Manager is responsible and accountable for plant maintenance personnel, plant asset reliability and the achievement of the plant related site, business, and corporate goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Site Leadership Team:Drive a strong culture of personnel, process, environmental, and product safety to achieve EH&S and Maintenance objectives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and permit requirements.
- Lead Maintenance Work Management Systems:Manage site Maintenance and Reliability systems, including budgeting, planning, scheduling, and executing predictive and preventative maintenance programs and necessary repairs.
- Supervise the Maintenance Team:Provide leadership to maintenance staff by motivating them, communicating the site's mission, facilitating training and career development, setting and reviewing performance goals, offering feedback and recognition, coaching, counseling, and managing performance.
- Enhance Site Reliability: Improve equipment reliability and uptime, maintain facility cleanliness and GMP standards, and ensure overall facility safety.
- Collaborate on Capital Investment Strategy: Work with the Site Leadership Team to identify and prioritize projects that enhance site safety and operational capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement:Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance people, safety, quality, inventory, delivery, and cost performance across all areas of responsibility.
- Team Building:Foster teamwork and collaboration within the department and across the plant.
Job Qualifications:
- University Degree (preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering) or High School Diploma
- 10+ years industrial maintenance experience preferably in industrial/biochemical processing
- 5+ years of successful leadership experience
- Proven project, budgetary, and team management skills
- Demonstrated capability to quickly understand technology and drive / support change
- Willing and able to do moderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders), along with the ability to work above floor surfaces (heights) and lift up to 65 lbs
