HX5 is currently seeking a Configuration and Data Manager supporting the T-7 Aircraft for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Training Division at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform configuration and data management tasks, ensuring product consistency with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life

  • Analyze the impact of configuration changes on lifecycle sustainment and identify sources and uses for configuration data

  • Confirm data adequacy for system verification reviews, Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and conduct these audits

  • Assist the US Government (USG) in resolving engineering change proposal conflicts and assess proposed changes for systems supportability

  • Review hardware and software specifications, engineering drawings, and ensure accurate documentation and marking of Configuration Items (CIs)

  • Aid in reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Request for Deviation (RFDs), and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) processes

  • Determine Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) database requirements, monitor data inputs, track fielded systems' configurations, and document baseline changes

Education and Experience:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD.

  • Or ... Seven (7) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
