What you'll be doing:



  • Communicates effectively with employees, supervisors and managers in order to achieve the Ability One goals and expectations concerning evaluations
  • Reviews all disability documentation for appropriateness to qualify candidates and to satisfy employee disability updates.
  • Contributes to development and revision of templates used by management to document observations concerning disability impact pm work performance and behavior.
  • Conducts Competitive Employment Evaluations to determine employee disability qualifications.
  • Interprets medical/psychological diagnoses and supervisor observations to identify vocational implications to develop prescriptive recommendations to counsel and assist the employee and supervisor in the work environment.
  • Evaluates program and/or needs and recommends purchase of appropriate evaluation tools and materials to enhance the employee work experience.
  • Reviews professional literature stays current regarding innovations and related programmatic standards in the field rehabilitation, Ability One, and evaluation in particular.
  • Contributes to training of Supervisors/Managers regarding Supervisor Reviews, Performance Reviews, and observation techniques and instructs them on disability awareness.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation or related field
  • Three (3) years' work experience in rehabilitation or related field desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain a good driving record.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and communication devices.


Days & Time:

Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
