POSITION SUMMARY

Are you a visionary marketer ready to make a powerful impact? Join us as the Director of Marketing and Communications, where you'll play a key role in shaping and driving our marketing, communication, and community engagement strategies. This is a high-profile position with company-wide influence, responsible for elevating our brand visibility and strengthening both internal and external communications. As a strategic leader, you'll align our brand efforts with our mission, values, and organizational goals, while amplifying our culture of belonging and commitment to ESG initiatives. In this dynamic role, you'll craft compelling messages, build brand equity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our narrative is clear, cohesive, and inspiring. This exciting opportunity reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the charge in aligning marketing and communications efforts with LDI's mission, values, and overarching goals, ensuring our brand resonates and makes an impact.
  • Develop compelling messaging, brand positioning, and value propositions that captivate and inspire our audience, with a special focus on sustainability, social responsibility, and our unique employment value proposition.
  • Create and execute a dynamic communications strategy that ensures impactful, consistent messaging across all touchpoints, both internally and externally, while maintaining a cohesive brand voice across digital and social channels.
  • Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to synchronize messaging and drive unified, strategic communication efforts across the organization.
  • Spearhead powerful cultural, communications, and brand campaigns that elevate brand awareness, support growth initiatives, and enhance acquisition efforts.
  • Drive the transformation of our digital presence, including our company website and launching innovative digital marketing strategies.
  • Take charge of our community relations strategy, building meaningful, positive connections with local communities and fostering strong, lasting relationships.
  • Lead and inspire a talented team of marketing, communications, community relations, and events professionals, ensuring strategic goals are executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Champion the company's public relations strategy, managing media relations and crisis communication efforts to protect and elevate the company's reputation. Act as the primary spokesperson for media engagements.
  • Own the marketing, communications, and community relations budget, ensuring effective allocation and optimization of resources.
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking marketing strategy that aligns with company goals, values, and ESG priorities, driving brand recognition and customer loyalty.
  • Lead the creation of powerful messaging and value propositions that reflect our commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and customer-focused innovation. Conduct in-depth voice-of-the-customer research to refine and enhance our approach.
  • Build a centralized resource hub that streamlines presentations, customer insights, sales tools, and requests, empowering teams with the resources they need to succeed.
  • Create impactful annual reports, including the development of our ESG report, showcasing our commitment to positive change.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and exciting new projects as needed to drive success and growth.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.10+ years of proven success in marketing leadership roles, with a track record of driving growth, innovation, and impactful results.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and KPIs - you're a data-driven marketer who knows how to leverage digital tools for success.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems, prioritize tasks, and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously with ease and confidence.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a natural ability to inspire and collaborate across cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with hands-on experience using data to drive decisions, optimize strategies, and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize impact and efficiency across marketing efforts.
  • Mastery of both traditional and cutting-edge communication channels, including web, video, social media, broadcast, and print - you're a marketing storyteller for the modern age.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with a keen eye for detail and organization to support seamless execution of all initiatives.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in the Packaging or Manufacturing industry.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - your advanced knowledge sets you apart as a leader in the marketing space.
  • Proven expertise in community relations and communications, including navigating public relations and leading crisis communication efforts with confidence and finesse.
  • Hands-on experience crafting and executing marketing strategies that integrate ESG principles, while creating compelling value propositions that drive success for large-scale organizations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $151,283 - $189,104 per year plus eligibility in annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options.
