Position Summary |
Candidate must assist with implementing the defensive system, practice sessions, recruit outstanding student-athletes to the University and meet recruiting goals for the football program. Candidate must also demonstrate techniques for improvement of the defensive players as well as execute programs directed by the Defensive Coordinator and Head Coach. Assist the Head Coach and defensive staff to continually analyze the defensive team, including strategy, planning, devising a defensive scout team, game plan development and adjustments to ensure peak performance. Ability to monitor strength and conditioning of athletes.
Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community and the public.
Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Banner to maintain accurate files on paper and in software programs.
Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, conference and
