Location is changing ERP systems, additional project work and assignments will be given

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
* Prepare shipping documents (pick-lists, packing lists, bills of lading, labels, airway bills customs documents)
* Verify order completeness and accuracy
* Provides work direction/priorities to shippers
* Provides prompt and accurate shipment information to inquiries. Arranges and coordinates order changes and or expediting requests in a timely manner to achieve high customer satisfaction
* Calls carriers to schedule pick-ups to provide timely movement of outbound freight.
* Manifests orders and ensures complete and accurate invoicing
* Reviews open orders that are still pending invoicing or manifesting
* Nightly reporting as the need arises
* Provides follow-up on expediting requests as required. Handles change orders and cancellation relating to shipping.
* Develops and maintains a good working relationship with both internal and external freight carrier contacts
* Provides backup and assistance to other warehouse functions during peak workload and absence coverage
* Receive in products, parts and raw materials for production processes
* Updating product inventory as products are received in to the facility
* Assign location code to received goods
* Maintains a clean and safe work area
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Promotes and supports EHS and Quality initiatives.
* Open to flexible work tasks to upcoming ERP transition

YOU HAVE:
* Minimum 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment within Shipping required and/or Receiving is a plus
* Experience in programs such as Excel, Outlook, UPS shipping.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Analytic and problem solving skills.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
