Engineering Intern

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• You will create new drawings and finalize existing drawings as directed. These drawings will be stored in an engineered product drawing vault system known as Enovia.
• Process a back log of drawings ready to be entered into the vault. Your goal will be to clean up this backlog while supporting current drafting and product data management needs as they arise.
• You will learn how engineered product drawings are created, stored, and used by manufacturing to produce and verify customer specific quality and conformance.
• Additionally, you will learn how to create items in ERP software including item master, bill of material, routing, and relevant data markers used for production, inventory, and data costing and analysis.

YOU HAVE:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current enrollment in associate engineering technology program, bachelor's engineering program, or similar field of study
• Academic background in Mechanics / Geometry / CAD (Computer Aided Drafting)
• Previous experience in or with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Skills including Attention to Detail / Accuracy / Basic Microsoft Office Excel & Word experience.
• Ability to keep accurate record of documents and work performed.
