Job Description:
TLD in Windsor, CT is looking for a motivated and reliable Manufacturing Data Entry Clerk to assist with maintaining accurate records of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will ensure that all production data is entered, updated, and verified in our systems, allowing our teams to make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with the manufacturing process engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient data management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update manufacturing production data, including work orders, inventory levels, and quality control checks into the company database.

  • Maintain and organize records of production schedules, material usage, and machine downtime.

  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure all data is captured and up to date.

  • Assist in tracking production output, monitoring progress, and reporting discrepancies.

  • Perform regular data audits and ensure that data accuracy is maintained throughout the production process.

  • Generate reports on production trends, machine performance, and other key metrics for review by management.

  • Ensure timely data entry for work orders and inventory adjustments, ensuring smooth workflow.

  • Help identify inefficiencies in data collection and suggest improvements to the data management process.

  • Monitor and update stock levels, raw materials, and finished goods data.

  • Support the production team by providing data insights to help troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

  • Ensure adherence to company data security and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in data entry or manufacturing-related fields is a plus.

  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in entering data.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology is beneficial.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), and experience with data management or ERP systems is preferred.

  • Ability to handle large amounts of data efficiently and effectively.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and managers.

  • Ability to work independently and stay focused on tasks in a fast-paced environment.
