Buyer/Scheduler for High Volume HTH Granular Products

Some of the things you will do:

• Focusing on the higher margin, higher volume Granular finished product lines that are crucial to Charleston plant operation
• Take the monthly production plan and convert into weekly and daily schedule for Charleston plant based on incoming sales orders vs. monthly forecast
• Prioritize production as well as inbound packaging components delivery based on capacity constraints within process, with downstream manufacturing products, and with suppliers
• Consider implications for downstream manufacturing needs, i.e. blending, tableting, toller dependency requirements
• Position is responsible for purchasing and coordinating delivery of components, raw materials, and other supplies as to ensure availability for use as required for the associated finished product lines in the Charleston plant
• Work closely with Production and Replenishment plant personnel to control inventories on raw materials and components
• Interface with key stakeholders in SC Planning, Logistics, Import/Export, Corporate Purchasing, and Product Management to ensure fulfilment of the supply plan against Charleston on-time in-full.

Education:
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 5-8 years' experience Or BA/BS Supply Chain Management with 3-5 years' experience

Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of scheduling and purchasing processes; must be able to manage internal requirements and external dependencies to achieve on time and in full supply positioning.
-Must have knowledge of hazardous chemical handling, i.e. understanding of proper inventory segregation requirements, hazardous material packaging requirements, familiarity/previous experience with Class 3 oxidizers a plus.
-APICS certification a plus
-Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP. Tableau proficiency a plus.
