Title: Electronic Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% In Office)

As an Electronic Engineer for our digital hardware team, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of digital systems and components. Your expertise in electronics, your ability to solve complex challenges, and your collaborative nature will be essential to successfully bringing projects to completion.

What Skills, Knowledge, Experience You Should Bring:

  • Proven skills and knowledge in electronic engineering or a related technical area.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience designing embedded systems that include CPU, DRAM, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, or other high speed interfaces.

  • In-depth knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in using schematic and PCB layout tools such as OrCAD and Allegro.

  • Ability to use lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, soldering.

  • Familiarity designing systems that pass regulatory compliance (CE, FCC, etc.).

  • History of using python, shell scripts, etc. to efficiently test designs.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Communicates effectively and builds positive working relationships.

  • Ability to contribute effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Nice To Have, Not Required:

  • Experience in designing embedded systems with DRAM and interfaces with speed of 1GHz or higher.

  • Experience in designing DC-DC regulators and I/O protection.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and test digital systems and components for GNSS receivers.

  • Create and review technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and specifications.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including RF hardware engineers, firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, project managers, and product operations to ensure successful project completion.

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
