Short Intro and About the Job

The Director of Finance -Raw & Pack leads a team of 3, accountable for end to end planning, reporting, and decision support for the Raw & Pack teams under Cycle and Procurement (C&P) Team. Cycles & Procurement (C&P) consists of more than $2.5B in annual spend related to the procurement of raw materials and Co-Man operations. The incumbent will be responsible for providing sound, progressive and engaging leadership while contributing to the effective management of the teams. This role will be a strategic partner to the VP Direct, C&P, helping to guide sound business decisions to meet and exceed the overall financial and strategic objectives of the Company, and to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This role will report to Director, Supply Chain Finance -Procurement. The candidate can be located either in Louisville, CO, or White Plains, NY Offices.

Key Responsibilities:

    Act as a strong Strategic Business Partner together with the VP C&P Raw & Pack, providing business insights & understanding of market dynamics to drive strategic choices together
  • Lead the development and implementation of short, medium and long-term financial planning, reporting and monitoring systems, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic direction and protection of the company's interests to mitigate risks
  • Provide professional advice and objective financial analysis which enable decision makers to make timely and informed business decisions, ensuring that opportunities and risks are fully considered and that decisions are aligned with the overall financial strategies
  • Partner with global team as well as North America key members of the Supply Chain leadership team to influence most optimal end to end network decision making
  • Identify areas of inefficiencies and roadblocks in the current processes and strive to improve the processes with both global counterparts and local teams.
  • Ensure proper controls in place to create accurate financials through the monthly close, rolling forecasts and annual budget planning process.
  • Provide key insights, coaching & mentoring for direct reports in order to optimize performance and develop talent for the future
  • Lead Raw & Pack finance team, ensuring individuals' KPIs are being met and are aligned with business area's KPI's
  • Cultivate company culture, employee engagement, productivity and passion

The base compensation range for this position is $150k-170k commensurate with experience. About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, engineering or related field. MBA a plus
  • You have 8+ years progressive Finance and/or material procurement experience
  • You have a minimum 4 years' experience in a CPG company
  • You should have experience in partnering with an executive team with strong analytical & storytelling capability to facilitate and drive decision making
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • You have strategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a proven hands-on leader who thrives in a team environment
  • You have strong analytical, quantitative and reasoning abilities.
  • You have high organizational agility with strong ability to navigate ambiguity
  • You have a collaborative leadership style - able to mobilize and influence in a matrixed organization
  • You have the ability to flex between strategic thinking and detailed focus
  • You are an authentic, genuine leader who values transparency, openness, and drives accountability
  • You have strong management/people sills and coaching capability
  • You have exceptional Microsoft Office knowledge, Power BI proficiency a plus.
