We're actively seeking a talented Continuing Education Coordinator to join our Retirement Strategies Group in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.

As a Continuing Education Coordinator you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by supporting the Continuing Education (CE) Administration Team with daily responsibilities associated with the administration of Pacific Life educational programs. The financial professionals we serve must be licensed to sell our products. As a requirement of the licenses, they must fulfill continued educational requirements, of which we provide. You will support two teams as a Continuing Education Coordinator. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 9 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include retirement planning experts that serve as professionals in the field of continuing education. You will also be cross-collaborating amongst other business units within the division to support such programs.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Set up continuing education programs into our Third-party Administrator's portal

  • Create invitation flyer for specific continuing education events for our Field Wholesalers

  • Help manage the organization of new and revised continuing education programs

  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with continuing education program requirements

  • Work with accuracy and curiosity to support successful continuing education programs

  • Ensure proper communication across departments and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and aligned on initiatives.

  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation to support team efforts.

  • Support team members and leadership with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of assignments.

  • Coordinate daily continuing education operations and assist in various tasks across multiple departments within a corporate environment.

  • Detail-oriented approach to handling tasks such as data entry, PowerPoint management, and meeting reporting, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

The experience you bring:

  • 2 years of experience within corporate environment

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, contributing to a team-oriented culture in the corporate setting.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, willing to speak up and offer suggestions to improve processes or resolve issues.

  • Proactively ask questions and seek clarification when needed, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment.

  • Quick learner with the ability to absorb new processes, tools, and systems efficiently.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing meetings requests thoughtfully, and with timeliness

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$24.44 - $29.88
