Job Title: RN Staff 3DWE Department: 3W Medical Unit Location: Maury Regional Medical Center Schedule: Friday - Sunday Day Shift 7a - 7p Job Requirements: * Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse Tennessee Required * 2 Years Med-Surg Nursing Experience for Float Pool Positions Required * 1 Year Nursing Experience for PRN Positions Required * 1 Year Nursing Experience for FT Positions Preferred Job Summary: * Responsible for planning, directing, providing and evaluating nursing care for patients using critical thinking, judgment and leadership skills. * Performs a number of other nursing duties that include charting, medications, use of equipment, etc. About Our Unit: At Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC), the 3rd West unit is a 52-bed department that serves a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, oncology and pediatric patients. Nurses on 3rd West have opportunities to advance their skills with training in pediatric care and chemotherapy certification. The unit operates with two charge nurses per shift to ensure smooth patient care and staff support. Our goal is to maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a collaborative team approach that includes LPNs and other precise, reliable diagnostic information to guide patient care and improve cardiovascular health.
