Overview:

This internship role will work closely with the head of credit for Bunge North America and portfolio credit managers on several initiatives, as well as daily credit management activities that help manage risk and maintain exposure within tolerances.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling standard credit application and change requests on commercial accounts
  • Assist in preparation of annual credit reviews for commercial counterparties
  • Work with internal colleagues around North America in compiling information for quarterly credit and bad reserve processes
  • Depending on experience, participate in analysis on the credit quality of the portfolio which will involve analyzing internal credit grades and comparing those with third party score

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong numerical and analytical skill
  • Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements
