About the Role

**This role has US Citizenship requirements- as this role supports services provided to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor, proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at the time of hire.**

Alight is seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Business Analyst to join its team. Responsibilities

  • Partners with Account Executives, Clients, Business Product and Technology teams in the implementation of Absence & Disability Solutions.
  • Lead Business requirements discussions, working closely with external Clients, Epic Owners, Business Owners, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Technology to relay business context while documenting functional and non-functional requirements, diagraming, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the Business, Product, and Technology teams in the management, refinement, and prioritization of a backlog.
  • Understand business processes, gaps, and challenges and convert that knowledge into effective and efficient solutions (i.e., requirements/user stories) that meet client and business objectives.
  • Defines the acceptance criteria for each user story item. Review test coverage to ensure that tests incorporate acceptance criteria, both functional and non-functional. Consults on the best approach for using a realistic test environment, covering key business processes and risk areas.
  • Assist in refinement, User Acceptance Testing to ensure a quality product is delivered for one or more large-scale projects/products.
  • Manages, supervises, or provides support, guidance, and training to others.
  • Sets overall direction and prioritization for functions and activities performed by the aligned team.
  • Serves as an escalation point for issues requiring functional engagement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or in similar roles, with a background in requirements documentation and diagramming.
  • Experience in Absence & Disability, HR Industry, Benefit Programs, and/or Health Insurance Technology Solutions
  • Experience with Data Analytics and Reporting Suite (Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsets)
  • Experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe methodology)
  • Supports enterprise-level analysis responsibilities including planning and scoping interdependent activities and leading senior business stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching in a team environment.
  • Visio or similar diagramming tools preferred.
  • Experience in creating business process maps using Business Process Modeling tools a plus.
  • Enterprise systems (UltiPro, PeopleSoft, ADP, Workday, Smartsheet, Jira) knowledge preferred.
  • IIBA CCBA and/or CBAP certification preferred.
  • Scrum/Agile certification will be a plus.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

65,600 USD

Maximum :

104,100 USD
