The Accounting area of the Business School of the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a Visiting Professor of Accounting (Open Rank). The start date for this position is August 2025. Visiting Professor of Accounting - Open Rank What you will do: A successful candidate can expect to be responsible for research, teaching, and service (negotiable). The position requires the candidate to conduct high-quality academic research in Accounting. The normal teaching load consists of 4 courses per year. Classes assigned are in an on-campus or online format during the day and evening, depending on departmental or program needs. The successful candidate is expected to reside in the Denver metro area during their time under contract. Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

Compensation and Benefits The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at Visiting Assistant Professor: $165,000-$185,000, Visiting Associate Professor: $175,000-$195,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
