Staffmark is seeking a Paralegal with 3-5 years of litigation experience for a fast-paced legal defense firm in Lafayette. The ideal candidate
is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Apply today!

Salary: Based on Experience

Qualifications:



  • At least 3-5 years of litigation experience (required).
  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.



Responsibilities:



  • Assist attorneys with preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Summarize depositions and obtain/update medical, employment, and other records.
  • Create medical timelines and assist with trial preparation.
  • Set depositions and handle discovery production.
  • Organize cases, monitor calendars, and meet deadlines.
  • File documents electronically with State and Federal courts.
  • Maintain documents in the firm's document management system.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients.
