Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Administrative and Customer Service Assistant Location: Torrance, CA (Onsite) Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday, No Overtime) FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire Level: Entry-Level (Step-up opportunity available) OVERVIEW An international, dynamic, and rapidly growing start-up in the home construction industry is seeking a Japanese-Bilingual Administrative and Customer Service Assistant. This key role will support daily operations, ensure smooth customer interactions, and assist with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Japanese, highly adaptable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, handling inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional manner. Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry, and document preparation. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams in both Japanese and English. Support sales efforts by providing information on company services and assisting with client follow-ups. Utilize strong math skills for basic calculations related to quotes, invoices, and material orders. Navigate multiple software applications for data entry, reporting, and customer interactions. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing materials. Occasionally assist in hands-on tasks related to home remodeling as needed. Drive own vehicle to construction sites to check progress as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual in Japanese & English Required. Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism. Passion for collaboration, helping others, and providing outstanding client service. Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions. Experience in sales or customer service preferred. Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, grasp, and lift items up to 50 pounds (only a few times a month) BENEFITS: Health Insurance, Holidays, PTO and 401K The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
