Creative Proofreader/QA Specialist

40 hours a month

Remote

April to November 2025 with possibility of extending

Overview: Position Overview: The QA Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistency, accuracy, and technical quality of creative materials produced by our client's in-house agency. From design assets and marketing materials, you'll be responsible for identifying errors and inconsistencies, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and client specifications, and collaborating closely with our creative teams to maintain our high standards of creative excellence.

Our global client could use some extra help every month, to ensure that all creative and marketing assets are meeting brand standards. In this role you will be supporting 2 Managers proofing all kinds of Signage, Social Media Posts, Email Campaigns, Banner Ads, Web Pages, Event Collateral, and more!

In addition to proofreading/QA'ing for grammar, style, content, and consistency you will be:



  • Reviewing social media posts to ensure proper display, launch date, etc., before forwarding onto the media team.
  • Trafficking Assets: Ensuring all fields are filled out for documentation purposes
  • Reviewing files to ensure they are print ready


Key Responsibilities:

* Detailed Review of Creative Deliverables: Thoroughly examine design layouts, copy, visuals, video edits, and other creative assets for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

* Brand Consistency Checks: Monitor brand colors, fonts, logos, messaging, and tone of voice to maintain a cohesive identity across all media.

* Technical Quality Assessment: Evaluate the technical aspects of deliverables (e.g., image resolution, file formats, platform compatibility) to ensure quality across different channels.

* Accessibility Review: Ensure all creative materials are accessible and compliant with accessibility standards for individuals with disabilities.

* Project Management Support: Collaborate with project managers to track timelines, identify potential quality issues, and flag concerns proactively.

* Feedback & Communication: Provide constructive feedback to creative teams, helping them refine their work while maintaining a positive, solution-focused approach.

* Quality Standards Development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal quality assurance standards and best practices.

* Issue Tracking & Reporting: Document issues, track resolutions, and generate reports to monitor the overall quality of creative output.

Qualifications:

* Seeking experienced Quality Assurance or similar role, preferably in-house or at a creative agency.

* Strong experience reviewing trade show collateral and digital marketing materials.

* Proficiency in Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

* Familiarity with project management and proofing/approval software.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.

* A high level of attention to detail to recognize and correct inconsistencies across multiple versions and rounds of creative materials.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Adaptable and flexible, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

Skills & Attributes:

* Strong visual acuity with an excellent eye for design, layout, and visual aesthetics.

* In-depth understanding of brand guidelines, messaging, and tone.

* Effective communicator who can give constructive feedback to creative teams.

* Self-directed and able to work independently while contributing to team goals.

* Ability to work on tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
