Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Process/Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing claims and deduction management, serving as a key contact for the Center of Scale (CoS) for related activities conducted on behalf of the Market. You will be instrumental in building capabilities related to claims and deductions, creating and maintaining documentation, and providing training.

Primary Responsibilities:

Business Process Oversight: Provide oversight and support for claims and deduction management within the CoS, including market escalations, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and further escalations.

Cross-Functional Support: Assist with escalations from partners including Sales, Trade Finance Support, and COC credit and collections.

Reporting: Support regular and effective reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs/PPIs/Health Checks) to minimize risk and proactively identify problem areas.

Systems and Tools: Provide support for systems, tools, and processes related to claims and deductions.

Customer Trends: Assist claims team members in identifying customer trends and work with appropriate groups to resolve and close gaps related top claims and deductions.

Training: Build, establish, and conduct training for the Shared Service organization related to market-specific processes and systems. Maintain localized training materials to ensure they accommodate business specifics and changes.

Operational Reviews: Participate in operational review meetings.

Strategic Projects: Support strategic projects as required, including business integration projects.

Requirements:

Education: Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Order to Cash (O2C).

Skills:

  • Ability to use tools to identify areas of waste and develop plans to action opportunities. Knowledge of Lean and NCE methodologies preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and the O2C End-to-End process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Well-organized, methodical thinker with excellent decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with an ERP system, SAP preferred. Proficiency in BW and Business Objects preferred.
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
