The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the preparation and oversight of corporate payroll activities supporting our North American locations. This role can be located either in Racine, WI or Oak Brook, IL and plays a significant role in delivering HR services that promote an exciting and professional environment and encourage communication, partnership and inclusion across a diverse employee population. Responsibilities

    Ensure valid and timely transmission of weekly and bi-weekly payroll for US and Canadian employee populations.
  • Lead all employee payroll data and processes, including entry of employee tax withholdings, deductions and direct deposit information, review and reconcile timesheet data, prepare vendor payments and process wage garnishments.
  • Research and resolve employee payroll inquiries and advise HR and business management of required critical issues
  • Team player willing to share experiences to support growth and development of junior team members
  • Audit system generated transaction reports for accuracy and for compliance with policy and standard operating procedures
  • Assist in the development and distribution of required reports and filings.
  • Maintain understanding of organizational policies and procedures and stay current on federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Participate in team/HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

The annual salary for this role is $52,500-$77,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Associate degree plus 6 or more years of payroll experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of payroll experience will be considered.
  • Established experience within ADP payroll software.
  • Experience processing payroll for multiple sites within a large, manufacturing company

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Fundamentals of Payroll (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPT) certified
