How you'll make an impact:

Working with the show's Senior Producer, you'll assist with in and out-of-studio production for a high-profile, daily entertainment talk show. You'll be quick on your feet to problem solve, great with technology and audio production software, and a passionate and creative collaborator.
What you'll do:
  • Assist in performing pre-show quality control of all studio equipment for proper functionality, reporting any anomalies or technical issues with broadcast operations team.
  • Continually monitor on-air product to ensure that it is airing at an exceptional broadcast standard.
  • Screen incoming listener calls and selectively choose callers to go on-air as needed.
  • As required, run the live audio board/console including show production, audio clips/drops, live callers, and other audio elements.
  • Assist Senior Producer with on-the-fly needs for host/s and guests.
  • Assist with pre- and post-show production, including editing and loading of audio clips, guest and show research, uploading shows for On Demand, archiving show audio, and other operational functions as needed.
  • Edit show audio clips and/or create audiograms for PR, sales, or other departments as needed.
  • Assist with editing audio for best-of shows and podcast episodes.
  • Learn operation of and troubleshooting techniques for audio board/console, Adobe suite, VSM panel, codecs, Zetta operating system and other in-house technical elements.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What you'll need:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in audio production
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure with a variety of personalities
  • Strong pop culture knowledge
  • Audio editing experience (ex. Adobe Audition)
  • Ability to run a live studio board
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the hourly rate for this position to be $19/hr. and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
