DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team. This role will partner closely with DEPCOM's business development team and across the broader organization to develop and implement key strategies and investment theses. This is a high-profile role where you will interface with senior leadership on advancing the market understanding of our industry and how best to position DEPCOM to attract the highest value projects that leverage our advantaged capabilities. This position is located at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarter and is eligible for relocation support. We would also consider locating this position in the Koch Engineered Solutions Wichita, KS headquarter. What You Will Do * Develop and maintain knowledge systems and processes to understand the active and potential project opportunities in the U.S. solar PV and battery storage market. * Analysis of market trends, including an understanding of current and future competitors, that could alter the landscape of DPI's competitive position. * Perform market research to identify project opportunities (e.g. Request for Proposals) that may fit our frameworks and advantaged capabilities and to educate the broader team on current events impacting our industry and customers. * Develop key performance indicators and reporting to measure business development performance and identify improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with DPI leaders to better understand and anticipate unmet needs of existing and potential customers. Identify potential gaps in our capabilities or product and service offerings and alternatives for filling such gaps. * Assist the Business Development VPs prepare customer presentations, value propositions, financial models, and analyze opportunities, including meeting with customers. * Attend global conferences and industry events as appropriate to aid in understanding relevant market dynamics. * Travel up to 20% The Experience You Will Bring Requirements (Basic Qualifications): * Experience in corporate or business development or market analysis roles * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint * Experience collaborating and communicating with leadership What Will Put You Ahead * Experience working at a leading consulting firm or investment bank * Demonstrated commercial acumen to identify and pursue business development opportunities * Experience analyzing financial statements and generating financial models (Cash flows, market & competitor analysis, etc.) At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
