The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Investment Fund Services accounting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients' assigned mutual funds, CITs, ETFs and other pooled vehicles. As an Automation Technology Specialist, you will collaborate across IFS teams, including trading, client service, account administration, portfolio administration, reconciliation, and security master.

Key responsibilities include managing and developing automated processes leveraging Microsoft Excel VBA, Python, SQL, and Power Automate. The role involves close interaction with Investment Fund Services operations teams, requiring a deep understanding of each group's processes, their interconnections, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Additionally, this role focuses on identifying, designing, and implementing new procedures and solutions to enhance efficiency.

* You will act as the primary point of contact for all automated processes, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution

* You will represent SEI professionally while confidently demonstrating command and knowledge when interacting with external clients and vendors

* You will monitor and verify that all established processes function effectively, addressing issues promptly

* You will collaborate closely with Investment Fund Services operations teams, maintaining professional and precise communication via email and in person

* You will support the development and documentation of automated processes and controls, contributing to process improvements and enhancements.

What we need from you:

* BS/BA degree in Technology / Computer Science, accounting, finance, business or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience.

* Minimum of 2 years of automation experience, preferably in an investment environment

* Proficiency with Microsoft VBA required.

* Proficiency Microsoft SharePoint, Python, SQL preferred.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Power (Automate, Dataverse) preferred or similar automation tools such as Alteryx and MS Power BI.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will primarily support your clients through email and/or phone calls.

* Strong customer service skills as you will be communicating daily with your clients and other service providers.

* Knowledge and expertise of Investran, Investier, and Geneva systems desired

* Project management experience a plus
