Role and Responsibilities:
CW Resources is seeking a Landscaping Supervisor to oversee and guide a team of landscapers and team leads, ensuring the delivery of top-notch landscaping services. In this role, you'll take charge of leading, mentoring, and training a skilled crew while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.



  • Supervise and manage a team of landscapers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to CW's high-quality standards.

  • Lead by example while providing ongoing support, mentoring, and training to the crew and team leads that primarily consist of adults with disabilities.

  • Conduct weekly safety briefings, ensuring that the crew follows safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment (PPE) to stay safe.

  • Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and monitor crew performance to ensure that landscaping projects stay on track.

  • Oversee lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation, and other landscaping services to maintain top-notch results.

  • Perform re-servicing where necessary to meet quality standards.

  • Conduct daily inspections of landscaping equipment and company vehicles, ensuring they're safe, clean, and ready for action each day.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, handling concerns and expectations with professionalism and efficiency.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field, plus at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, equipment, and tools, with experience implementing safety protocols and handling pest management.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and lead your team to success.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.


Preferred Skills:



  • Possess relevant landscaping certifications (e.g., pesticide applicator, irrigation technician, horticulture)

  • Possess relevant OSHA certification (e.g., OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour).

  • Certification in forklift operation or other heavy landscaping equipment and machinery.

  • Familiarity with local landscaping regulations, including water usage, pesticide application, and waste disposal policies.

  • Ability to think outside the box when encountering challenges in landscaping projects, providing innovative and efficient solutions.

  • Dependable and punctual, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and the team operates smoothly.


Physical & Environmental Demands:



  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, sun, dust).

  • High noise levels from equipment and traffic, requiring clear communication.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

  • Lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), including plants, soil, and equipment.

  • Frequent physical activity including lifting, pushing, and carrying landscaping materials.

  • Exposure to potential hazards (sharp tools, moving machinery, chemicals, uneven terrain).

  • Must adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment and company vehicles safely, adhering to traffic laws.
