Student Conduct and Academic Integrity:

Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI), a division of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, provides educational opportunities that foster individual growth, ethical development and personal accountability while promoting the core values of the university: integrity, scholarship, community, creativity, and excellence.

The Opportunity:

The Office Support Assistant (TEMP) for Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI) will be responsible for overseeing the front reception for Student Conduct and providing staff with administrative support.

Responsibilities:


  • Serves as the first contact for students working with Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI)and the campus community by screening phone calls to the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity phone line to provide assistances
  • Answers telephone, take messages, check voicemail, and forward calls when appropriate.
  • Assist with daily office operations (copying, filing, shredding, restocking supplies) for the office.
  • Assists students and customers daily, including walk-ins, emails, and phone calls, about the Office's policy and procedure and the University's policies.
  • Monitors and responds to Student Conduct and Academic Integrity email account.
  • Manages confidential information and determines the release of information outlined by the University.
  • Receives forms and individual requests via mail, fax, and walk-ins in a variety of formats.
  • Providing students, employees, and community partners with information regarding programs, resources, and services.
  • Provides timely support to professional staff and Student Conduct projects as requested.
  • Assists with the Student Conduct internal database through case creation and documents student contacts in the database.
  • Complete daily office closure procedures, including straightening the office area, shutting down computers, turning off lights, and locking doors.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in higher education.
  • Experience in making sound decisions and assessing problems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing work for accuracy and quality.
