Fast paced, challenging work for the right clinician who enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team.The Social Worker/Clinical Counselor II role evaluates the psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families and provides diagnostic/preventive and treatment user services including individual, family and group therapy. The Social Worker/Clinical Counselor II works in collaboration with other health/mental health professionals and provides consultation to the treatment team regarding patient/family social and environmental needs. This role works in the Spring Harbor Hospital Developmental Disorders Partial Hospital Program and may supervise other social work/clinical counselors, students or other staff.
