DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will have direct interaction with the public and will be responsible for providing a positive customer experience at a Driver License Center. You will be responsible for verifying customer information, assisting with filling out application forms, and accurately entering data into our online systems. You will also be responsible for distributing informational materials and administering knowledge tests to assess applicants' understanding of vehicle laws and traffic signs. Additionally, you will be required to conduct vision screenings using specialized equipment and ensure the accuracy of test results and application information entered into the computer system. It is crucial to have a thorough understanding of our services and requirements for both REAL ID and non-REAL ID products in order to effectively address public inquiries. Furthermore, you will assist with any questions regarding license renewals, duplicates, out-of-state transfers, and motorcycle licensing. You must also be well-informed about commercial license restrictions and endorsements. In this position, you will be responsible for issuing Restoration Requirements Letters upon request, and ensuring that all application of fee waiver codes are correctly applied according to established guidelines.

- Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
