Looking for a change to support a terrific manager and team? Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Project Admin Assistant to join our Team for our Sioux Center or Sioux Falls office.

The position of Project Assistant provides support to Interstates by working alongside leaders and project team. The Project Assistant aids in the planning, execution and documentation of projects and offerings

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Team: assist with planning and scheduling workload; assist with travel plans and expense reports; new employee onboarding
  • Plan/setup meetings and events
  • Support Project Managers or Automation Managers: setting up meetings; taking notes; updating/validating project dates and data, posting notes in appropriate place and assigning action items
  • Monitor and update dates and data in the customer relationship management (CRM) software for potential jobs
  • Create and monitor project schedules using work break down structure (WBS) software for project activities with input from project leads and project managers
  • Develop project reports by working with various departments and reporting tools
  • Maintain and update various calendars

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school;
  • or one to three years of related experience and/or training;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Prioritization of tasks and well organized
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Budgeting Expertise
  • Strong analytical mindset and grasp new systems

Travel:

  • This position will be located in our Sioux Center or Sioux Falls office and would have limited travel.
