Onboarding Coordinator

The Onboarding Coordinator will support the Onboarding Supervisor, RTS/RCS Call Center teams and company onboarding initiatives. The primary focus will be on new hire development. The Onboarding Coordinator will assist with in-person and virtual training creating experiences that empower our new hires to take ownership in how they show up in the moments that matter most to our customers. This position will assist in delivering training to all new hires initially and ongoing sessions to associates that need coaching as they develop through the RTS/RCS progression plans. Onboarding Coordinator will ensure a smooth transition from new hire training into productive Metronet associates from day 30 to day 90.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Assist Onboarding Supervisor with the onboarding process and documentation of new hires with RTS/RCS new hire checklist and department paperwork.
  • Assist Onboarding Supervisor with informational sessions to help new hires understand metrics, progression plans, career paths, goals and the basic job functions
  • Provide department training and call coaching for RTS associates after QA review and areas of improvement based on metrics
  • Perform 1-on-1 call shadowing sessions and coach new hires on areas of improvement or to provide feedback on activities or conversations that go well
  • Provide resources to help with troubleshooting equipment, tech support, and standard operating procedures in RTS/RCS
  • Help with de-escalation of difficult calls and unique situations
  • Provide guidance on call flow efficiency and processes to achieve 90% scores for QA metric
  • Evaluate their call handling, development, and entry level skillset in line with progression plan standards
  • Provide training opportunities based on the assessments to further encourage growth
  • Provide support to supervisors, managers and mentors of RTS/RCS to guide associates through progression plans and skills development
  • Act as point of reference for all new hire questions and support
  • All other duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • Highschool or GED Required
  • 2 years' experience in high volume call center environment
  • High level of Proficiency with customer service and call center focused roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism via email, phone and in-person
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and handle high stress environments
  • Previous experience development/coaching/training associates preferred
