The Temporary Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment and miscellaneous administrative work.
*This is a temporary assignment that will potentially last up to 6 months based upon performance and the continued need for the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supports the administration of the day-to-day activities relating to corporate recruitment.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the position and job requirements when a requisition is submitted.
- Implement established recruitment processes and strategies.
- Prepare and place all job postings both internally and externally.
- Utilize recruitment strategies that include traditional and alternative sources to best attract a diverse and qualified pool of candidates.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and/or universities/colleges.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based upon the requirements for the position.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess whether the candidate meets the minimum requirements of the role.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with the hiring team. This may also include a skills assessment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare and place all vacancy postings for openings.
- Place advertisements for open positions utilizing job boards, social networks, and other applicable resources.
- Refer all qualified applicants to the hiring manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in full cycle recruiting.
- Recruiting experience for a manufacturing company is required.
- Experience recruiting within the Consumer Package Goods Industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of federal and state laws regarding recruiting practices.
- Ability to recruit with a focus on attracting a diverse talent pool, eliminating hiring bias, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while always prioritizing hiring the most qualified candidates
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, ClearCompany preferred.
- Proven track record of hiring at all levels within an organization.
- Skilled in identifying diverse recruitment sources using job boards, social media, networking, and cold calling.
- Proven ability to manage high recruiting needs and a diverse requisition load.

BENEFITS AND SALARY
The minimum compensation for the Temporary Corporate Recruiter is $30.00 per hour. The Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. Compensation is determined by a candidate's experience, education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our organization. The actual compensation to be paid will be determined upon an offer. Benefits are not available for this role due to the temporary status.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment with exposure to the manufacturing plant and/or distribution centers.
This position will be working out of our West Chicago office during the first initial weeks of training, and then once a date has been established, the role will be hybrid, with a requirement of up to three (3) days in the office.
