The Firm is seeking a full time Compensation Analyst to join the Human Resources Department. The Compensation Analyst will be an integral part of the team and a critical member of our overall Talent organization that work together to seamlessly provide support for both attorney and professional staff compensation. This is an exempt position based in our New York office working on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate salary levels and compensation structures.
  • Stay current on market trends and industry benchmarks to ensure compensation remains competitive.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compensation policies that align with the firm's overall business strategy.
  • Support the annual merit review process by analyzing changes in the market and recommending appropriate salary adjustments and bonuses.
  • Analyze compensation data, generate reports, present findings and provide insights into compensation trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with ensuring compensation practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in industry salary surveys and analyze results to determine the firm's market relationship; research and recommend additional surveys for participation.
  • Develop recommendations for process improvements and compensation strategies to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Assist other HR functions, particularly recruiting & HRIS with respect to compensation-related matters.



Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Two to five years of compensation analysis in a professional services environment.
  • Solid experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP's, creating charts and graphics, pivot tables.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn and grow in the compensation field.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations a plus.
