Overview

Carle Health is seeking a highly motivated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our OB/GYN team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

  • Births at Level III hospital that offers anesthesia 24/7
  • Nurse-Midwives participate in approximately 500 - 550 births per year
  • Call (24 hours) 1:8 with an average of 3 office days per week. Rotating weekends and holidays
  • First Assist at Cesareans when requested
  • Nurse-Midwives are preceptors for medical, nursing and midwifery students
  • Centering Pregnancy provider or willingness to be trained required
  • Collaborate closely with the Nurse Family Partnership program
  • Clinical outreach clinics in surrounding areas with travel required
  • Provide an expanded range of pain management options, including nitrous oxide

Education Requirements:
Master's degree required with concentration in midwifery

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
