Laboratory Processing Assistant II - Client Resource Team (CVM)
APPLY The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Laboratory Processing Assistant to join the Client Resource Team at the Animal Health Diagnostic Center. In this position you will act under the direction of the Client Resource Team Supervisor and support the daily activities of the AHDC by serving as the front line for client service and assisting with the processing of incoming submissions. You are highly collaborative, effectively communicate across all levels to assess shareholder needs, respond to inquiries, and appropriately process test requests. Your excellent time management skills and positive attitude allows you to move efficiently between responsibilities, ensuring success as you work in a team-based environment. A keen attention to detail is important as you will perform critical data entry. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Important Details about the Position
Employees working in the laboratory must receive the pre-exposure rabies prophylaxis vaccination series prior to or immediately after hire, which will be paid for by the department. While the regular business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, the specific schedule may change to meet the needs of the business, requiring employees to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and University holidays and scheduled breaks.
