Pay Range

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range: $20.50 to $26.25 hourly
Full Pay Range: $20.50 - $32.00 hourly

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same classification. A higher wage would only be offered based on direct court-related or legal experience (i.e. such as that with a law firm).
Additional questions regarding pay can be discussed with HR during the hiring process if you are offered a position. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position

As the Court Operations Auditor, you will assist the Clerk of the Superior Court in the training of Docket staff as well as ensuring that all documents are filed accurately and docketed onto the automated court system, which will provide the public, the legal community, Courts, County, and other governmental agencies with access to the judicial system and related public records so that they can pursue legal processes and/or obtain and maintain legal and financial records and information.

We Require

  • Three years of legal, court, or justice system support-related experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Post-secondary education may substitute for two years of the experience requirement

We Also Value

  • Experience performing court docketing functions

Job Contributions

  • Audit docket, electronic images, and workflow for compliance with procedures, make appropriate corrections, and record audit results

  • Create audit result reports for management and reconcile reports

  • Perform complicated data entry, file counter functions, and quality control checks

  • Provide extensive training of new employees in the docket and eFile processes and perform specialized support functions

  • Periodically reviews and updates docketing procedures as needed to meet business needs

  • Maintain a variety of case-type reports and queries

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting with long periods of sitting while completing computer activities

  • Hybrid telework and alternate work schedules are available after initial training period

  • Ability to lift boxes up to 5 pounds

  • May require travel to and from job-related locations during the course of a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles use on County
