We are looking for an Ecosystem Strategy Lead who is a strategic, innovative brand planner to join us in our Ecosystem Strategy team, based in our Smyrna office in Atlanta, GA.

About the role:

The Ecosystem Strategy Lead (ESL) will be responsible for continuing to develop and evolve an agile national strategy that can be translated to address regional needs and implement tactical plans (in both Derm and Rheum therapeutic areas). Collaboration will be critical to the success of this position. The ESL will collaborate compliantly across multiple functions including Marketing, MAP, Medical and others.

Who you'll work with:

The Ecosystem Strategy Lead will work with internal Stakeholders such as the Immunology EP leadership team, Immunology EP field team, iMOL field team, Immunology Market Access strategy team and Field-based director leadership teams. The Ecosystem Strategy Lead will also work with external stakeholders such as Executive Healthcare Leaders and Decision makers, Access influencers, Payer / IDN formulary decision makers and Key decision makers and stakeholders across micro-ecosystem, including KOLs/TLs.

What you'll do:

  • Develop/Evolve strategy, identify priority focus areas, develop differentiated value proposition and materials that are tailored to ecosystem stakeholders
  • Strategically-coordinate compliant execution with UCB field team members as appropriate
  • Serves as key contributor to the strategic annual planning & cross functional tactical plan development including but not limited to: evolving plan to align with market dynamics, providing insights, ensuring flawless execution of plans to effectively reach Ecosystem stakeholders, and measure KPIs
  • Prospectively identify new opportunities and innovative approaches to elevate care for patients
  • Utilize findings from, market research studies and field insights, turning stakeholder insights into actionable measurable initiatives
  • Create and execute innovative new resources and develop key, strategic initiatives
  • Manage projects, and resources through the internal review committee process
  • Manage agency partners to develop materials, and champion materials through the review/approval process. Ensure all initiatives are aligned to strategy
  • Own ECO budget, collaborate with core team when opportunities exist for dynamic budget reallocation and communicate budget phasing and progress
  • Partner closely with Training team to help ensure successful launch of initiatives
  • Serve as primary contact/partner to one of the therapeutic area Leadership Team (Dermatology or Rheumatology)

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills:

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical space or healthcare industry, with a focus on strategy
  • Overnight travel (approximately 25-50%) required including weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience, developing and influencing teams preferred
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas effectively to internal partners and external agencies
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in Dermatology and/or Rheumatology
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams
  • Proven ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams in the development/ delivery of strategic imperatives and tactics, including marketing, field sales teams, legal, compliance, market access and advocacy.
  • Deep understanding of business and care management / delivery models of large healthcare delivery systems and IDNs
  • Understanding of population health, value-based care delivery and patient quality initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in project, vendor and budget management
  • Results oriented, paying attention to detail, with accuracy, being prompt and able to meet deadlines
