Mold Remediation Technician

We are a leading mold remediation company based in Haverhill, MA, dedicated to providing high-quality mold removal and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. Our team is committed to professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking an experienced Mold Remediation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience in mold remediation, water damage restoration, or a related field. You will be responsible for assessing mold-affected areas, performing remediation procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Essential Functions:



  • Implement mold containment and remediation procedures, including removal and cleaning
  • Operate air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and other remediation equipment
  • Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials
  • Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
  • Maintain accurate documentation of remediation activities


Experience:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mold remediation or water damage restoration
  • Knowledge of industry standards (IICRC, OSHA, and EPA guidelines preferred)
  • Experience with containment setup, HEPA filtration, and chemical application
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or high-moisture environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • IICRC certification in Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) is a plus


Working Environment/Physical Demands:



  • Work may be performed under extreme weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
  • A valid driver's license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.
