The Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will take place October 20 to October 26, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, AR. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of the top 54 PGA TOUR Champions professionals in the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs competing for a purse of $2.3 million dollars. Benefitting various charitable organizations across Arkansas, the Simmons Bank Championship Presented by Stephens will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:
This internship will focus on delivering a world-class experience across all activations and key tournament partners. This candidate will work behind the scenes and must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, be keen to details, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details:
  • Support special events such as Pro-Am, Pairings Party, Women's Day, Tailgate and Volunteer Party
  • Assist with administrative tasks relating to Pro-Ams (assembling credential packets, shipping, etc.)
  • Onsite event support at Pro-Am and pairings party
  • Work closely on Honorary Observer Program
  • Actively update and maintain Trust Event Solutions tournament database
  • Produce tournament related materials such as scorecards, sponsor logos
  • Photograph or film various events and activations when needed
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Full availability during tournament week October 20 - October 26, 2025
  • Internships will run from August 4 - October 31, 2025
Eligibility
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period while receiving academic credit
  • Applicants should reside near Little Rock or be willing to commute
  • A resume and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment with the application
  • Please note internships are unpaid
