What success looks like in this role: Job Description Summary Reporting to Digital Workplace Solutions senior leadership, the global director for our Device Subscription Service (DSS) will have end-to-end responsibility to build, deploy, lead and govern our subscription-based asset offering and the support team under it. This position will act as the global single point of contact for the DSS business, tiering into the Frontline services organization. Key Responsibilities The director will be responsible to own the Device Subscription Service business and to lead and direct a global team to build and deliver high a quality technology solution. Building extraordinary collaborations with internal and external clients to meet rapidly changing market demands is key. In this global leadership role, modeling and delivering excellence and innovation to maintain top competitiveness will support success. The leader will have a deep understanding of the technology services business and will be responsible to drive change into the team. Having a deep understanding of DWS and field services market trends along with an entrepreneurial spirit is a plus. * Responsible to build the end-to-end DSS solution for the business unit o Provide strategy, leadership, and delivery governance o Act as the rallying point for DSS solution orchestration with internal and external stakeholders * Plan, design and build an agile organizational model to meet rapidly changing market demands * Create and maintain outstanding and productive partnerships with OEM counterparts * Determine cost outlook that ensures the appropriate margin expectations * Manage escalations, take accountability for ensuring KPI performance and corrective action plans as required * Create and maintain collaborative internal and external partnerships with key teams and clients * Provide inputs to ensure implementation of continuous improvement methodologies within the portfolio You will be successful in this role if you have: Key Qualifications * University graduate preferred and depth of management and leadership experience. Specific focus in the Digital Workplace Services/Field Services and associated technologies is preferred * 8-10 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience * Strong understanding of field services market trends and client business drivers * Experience managing and motivating global teams and succeeding in highly matrixed leadership organizations * Outstanding communication skills at all levels within the organization * Change agent to drive the needed functional and behavioral changes in the team to deliver the next general of experience to our clients * Provide delivery excellence and continued innovation to maintain a top quartile cost competitiveness Focus areas of qualification: * 8-12years of specific experience in DWS focused on field services with demonstrated application of innovation * Agile thinker who is adaptable to changes in markets, operations and support - Challenger of the status quo * Leader of world class service through innovation * Pacesetter for continuous improvement of delivery reliability and cost This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
