Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications.

  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and external data sources as required.

  • Ensure the proper functioning of Salesforce applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform testing and debugging.

  • Design and implement automation processes using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.

  • Support the deployment of new releases and updates to the Salesforce environment.

  • Stay current on Salesforce best practices, releases, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

  • Able to effectively communicate status, accomplishments, and roadblocks to a dynamic global team.

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts, Business Architects, and Product Owners to develop requirements, review solutions and designs, and build enablement and test scripts.

Required Experience

  • Knowledge of Salesforce architecture, design, and deployment best practices.

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning components.

  • Apex and Visualforce experience.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics and AI features.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools (APIs, REST, SOAP, etc.).

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (mandatory); Platform Developer II or Salesforce Admin certifications are a plus.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for Salesforce.

  • Advanced understanding of cloud computing, solutions, and the Salesforce product family.

  • Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Desired Experience / Expertise / Skills
  • Salesforce Admin and Advanced Admin certifications and product experience.

  • Familiarity with CRM, data management and/or Certinia's PSA tool.

  • Experience as a customer-facing consultant.

  • Experience in Sales Operations and/or Professional Services.

  • PMI / PMP certification

  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, CPQ and/or systems integration.

  • Proficient in authoring use cases, user stories, business and/or technical requirements.

  • Experienced at collaborating with both business and technical teams; requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, launching and enabling enterprise solutions.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,600 to $159,000. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,600 to $159,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
