Job Overview: The Customer Service Representative responsibilities include providing timely and courteous, day-to-day service for our customers: taking sales orders, providing product availability, and shipping information, preparing quotes, inquiring to understand the customers' wants and engaging customers with product and support knowledge to create a maximum customer satisfaction experience. Always seeking to understand customer wants and needs, by engaging customers with product and support knowledge to create the best customer experience. Listens to customer feedback, complaints and opportunities discussed in daily communications and works with the rest of the organization to address customer needs. Supports the Regional Sales Managers daily. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quotations, order entry, and customer interfacing in a timely manner. Ability to quote standard and non-standard products. Ensures accuracy and maintains high level of responsiveness to customers internal/external.
- Oversees onboarding of new customers, providing and receiving documentation, entering them into SAP and following current credit policy.
- Consistently uses CRM (ZenDesk / SalesForce). Enters quotes/orders/customer ordering portal Online portal (OEM) assistance pulling OEM schedules and entering them into SAP accordingly. Manages websites, general email inbox and other electronic tools.
- Develop and/or process export shipment documentation to meet country requirements.
- Ability to track and follow-up on order fulfillment, understanding of ordering customer trends, and effectively communicates with internal/external customers. Works with production and shipping to expedite delivery, as necessary.
- Reviews purchase orders and updates corrections as needed. Evaluates drawings, P&IDs, submittals, terms & conditions, RoHS requests, Conflict Mineral CRMTs, supplier surveys, and other customer requested paperwork completing and returning to requestors in a timely fashion.
- Recommend appropriate product solutions to customers. Provides basic technical support and escalates higher level technical support to RSMs or Applications Engineering as needed.
- Works closely with Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers updating pricing for OEMs and distributor sales channels. Interfaces with Finance and A/R departments ensuring timely and full payment of receivables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or other related discipline
- 3+ years related experience in customer service/sales of technical products working with industrial
distribution channels and OEM customers - Relationship management and sales experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of organizations
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks quickly and with a sense of urgency
- Self-motivated and works well with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with CRM's - ZenDesk and Salesforce
- Exposure to pumps
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
