As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

Our Patrol Officers play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within the logistics and distribution sector. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, they help to deter potential security-related incidents. Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. This unarmed position requires a commitment to teamwork and integrity, ensuring that all interactions are handled with care and professionalism. A guard card or license is preferred for this role, enhancing the officer's ability to perform their duties proficiently.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engage in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess a valid Guard Card/License; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
