Video: What We Do

The SIOP Manager is responsible for leading the integrated planning process that aligns sales forecasts with inventory management and operational capabilities. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that supply and demand are balanced effectively, enhancing customer satisfaction while optimizing inventory levels and operations efficiency. Success in this role demands both hands-on efforts to work through low level details as well as a high level creative and analytical mindset to promote information flow and facilitate decision making. This position reports directly to the Site General Manager/Site Leader and with a dotted line to the Global Corporate SIOP Manager.

Key Responsibilities



  • SIOP Process Leadership: Lead the SIOP process, facilitate monthly meetings, and drive global improvement.
  • Demand Planning: Manage and validate data, support decision-making, and collaborate with sales.
  • Supply Planning: Align with procurement and production, optimize supply plans, and create scenarios.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory, reduce excess stock and stockouts, and maintain KPIs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align strategies with departments and serve as the main SIOP contact.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use analytics tools, prepare reports, and develop new tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices, stay updated with trends, and participate in events.
  • Training and Development: Train team members and foster a collaborative culture.



Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or operations planning.
  • Prior leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Energy or similar industry involved with manufacture and/or repair of highly engineered products.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with SIOP software and ERP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle).


  • Green Belt or black belt certification is preferred.
