Overview
The Manager, Patient Services will lead day-to-day operations of the Patient Services Platform that includes but not limited to the SK Life Science Navigator program, PAP program, voucher program, benefits investigation platform, commercial buy down program and
- This position will require superior communication, detail orientation and thoroughness in management of all the patient services programs for marketed SK Life Science products
- The Manager will work closely with the SKLSI Sales team on inquiries from their HCP offices and additionally build relationships and communicate frequently with vendors
- The top deliverables for this position are building a partnership with the vendors, managing day to day operations for all Patient Services and completing reporting related to Patient Services & Trade.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of vendors supporting all Patient Services programs, including but not limited to Navigator, HUB/Reimbursement, copay support, pharmacy, voucher
- Create and get approval PMRC approval of marketing materials, training documents and correspondence
- Analyze and report Patient Services information throughout the organization
- Communicate frequently with SKLSI Sales team to answer inquiries
- Collaborate daily with Patient Services vendors on day-to-day operations or specific questions
- Review data to ensure no inaccuracies are found
- Partner with internal SKLSI groups, including Legal, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, IT, Medical, etc.
- Support implementation of program enhancements and improvements within Patient Services that will streamline the patient/HCP experience and may be outside the box
- Communicate effectively both internally and externally regarding all appropriate market access
- Ability to travel within to visit vendors, attend conferences and SK meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of pharma experience in Patient Services, Market Access, Trade or equivalent vendor partner, plus other experience within the pharmaceutical space
- Strong Patient Services background preferred (specifically HUB, Reimbursement, Copay, Patient Assistance, Vouchers)
- Strong ability to work cross functionally across sales, marketing, market access, trade, commercial operations, and senior leadership
- Highly detail oriented and thorough in follow-up
- Provide appropriate access and call center support/education for sales/sales management teams and HCP offices
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity and strategic relationship building skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; monitor patient access and support services metrics
- Assist with data integration between vendors and internal SKLSI teams
- Provide competitive intelligence regarding marketplace access programs and services
- Prioritize a demanding workload, work cross-functionally, and evaluate enhanced services to meet current and future needs
- Responsible for day-to-day contact for Patient Services vendors
- Function as a subject matter expert on reimbursement services including; reimbursement hotline, patient assistance program and copay assistance program
- Work directly with external Reimbursement HUB partner(s) in implementing patient access programs and services, including management of the patient financial assistance programs
- Provide appropriate access and call center support/education for sales/sales management teams and providers.
- Assist in creation and approval of internal and external written and verbal communications, materials and training
- Strong project management, analytical thinking skills, and financial modeling skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement successful strategic initiatives for multiple constituents with conflicting/competing objectives and goals
- Ability to effectively compete for resources both with internal and external customers
- Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen
